Best Summer of my Life

Not gonna lie, this has been the best summer that I've ever had, and it's about to end off in the most incredible, most amazing, bestest way that I could even imagine. Let me explain:

It all started back in April. School had just ended. I had aced all my final exams. And I decided to head down to Provo and live with my best friend Lydia for a couple of months. It was great! We had so much fun! We made a food chart and cooked yummy foods. We went running. Hung out with fun people. Stayed up and watched movies. We basically had a blast. It was a total party! But our party did end. She went to California. I went to Girls Camp.

I love Girls Camp. I obviously can't get enough of it either. The time I spent as a Young Women just wasn't enough. I love that they keep calling me back. This year, I slept in the leaders tent. Which was very fun! I don't need to be surrounded by people my age to have fun! I can be with practically anyone and have the time of my life! This was the case of Girls camp. I love it. I had so much fun boondoggling, tubing down the river, stargazing, sitting around the camp fire, putting out the campfire, and being with my girls of the 9th ward. They are all winners. Girls camp was short and sweet and ended quickly. I was soon off to my next adventure....

EUROPE! Best vacation of my life. The whole trip was incredible. Every place we visited and everything we saw and did within 3 fast weeks was just simply put, amazing. I will blog about that in a later post. I started to write about it and ended up with a buttload on just the first day. I will get to it though and there will be pictures included! However, I will provide a very brief rundown: London, Paris, Rome, Florence, Venice, St. Moritz, Interlocken, Lucern, Oberammergau, Rothenburg, Salzburg, Edertal(Tobi's place). That was it. all the cities we visited. I got to add 7 countries to my list! England, France, Italy, Vatican City, Germany, Switzerland and Austria. It was the trip of a lifetime.

The week after I got home from Europe, I went to Hemophilia camp. SO MUCH FUN! After a trip like that, you would think that everything would be boring. So not true. Everything was just as great or even better! I love being at Hemophilia Camp aka Camp Valor. The kids are so brave and awesome. A 6 year old infused himself. I watched another kid get his first poke. They are so cool and so much fun to play with! We had fun playing basketball, soccer, ULTIMATE NINJA RAIN DESTRUCTION, and throw the lifeguard in the pool(my personal favorite... not). It was a great camp. It went by quickly and before I knew it, I was headed off to my next vacation spot.

CALIFORNIA! I decided to fly out and see Lydia! She has been in Port Hueneme with her sister, nieces and nephew. The husband has been deployed to Afghanistan and she needed help with her 3 small children, all under 3. Cutest kids ever, btw. We spent the first day at Disneyland! It was a blast! And so crazy with such small kids. But we considered it a success. The rest of the week we just played at their house in Port Hueneme and I enjoyed excellent healthy cooking. Lydia and I went to see Despicable Me and Inception. Both fabulous shows. We played at the beach a couple of times and also went shopping! I love back to school shopping, esp at Ross. The week however ended, and I flew back to Utah.

I now have 5 days until my semester begins and 8 days until the man of my dreams becomes the man of my reality. He has been serving in the Florida Fort Lauderdale mission for the past two years. He has loved it and has given 110%. I am quite positive that he is the hardest working missionary ever. It is going to be hard for him to leave, but I'm sure he will get right back into the swing of things here in Centerville, with me! I'm dying of excitement. I have decided to go to the airport and surprise him. That's what I would want him to do if it was me coming home. And I don't think I could wait a minute longer to see him. It is the perfect end to a perfect summer.
